I have a Simrad Cruise that I find very frustrating to use. I’d like to load them into Coastal Explorer but I can’t seem to figure out how to make them appear.
They show up as unmanaged charts.
I’m afraid C-MAP charts can’t just be copied around as they are locked to a particular device or program. There are also several types of C-MAP charts and Coastal Explorer can only use “C-MAP MAX PC” charts. I don’t know what type of C-MAP charts Simrad Cruise uses, but I can say the name in your screen shot doesn’t look anything like the type of C-MAP charts that do work with Coastal Explorer.
Thanks, that’s a drag as I just bought a genuine C-map card hoping it would alleviate the problems I’m having with my Simrad plotter.
