Coastal Explorer on Windows will check for updates when you start it (or use the Sync command) and it has internet access. You can also check our website for information on the latest release and to download update programs if you need to update a computer that does not have internet access.
Coastal Explorer on the iPad or iPhone is updated through the App Store, which will normally update apps automatically. However, if you have disabled automatic updates, or just want to be absolutely sure, you can search for Coastal Explorer in the App Store and it will offer to Update it if an update is available or to Open it if you already have the latest version.
