In 2024, after considerable effort to get things sorted out with support, I gave up using cloud layers as my daily operating mode and went back to local .nob files. I continue to use cloud layers for backups of groups of routes. My issue was the latency in working with routes. I use Starlink & it works as expected in that we can stream movies while at anchor & have excellent Internet connecticity & so on. But the latency in communicating with CE cloud storage did not work. I’ve now started looking at the V4.5 Beta. During my exploration/conversion I seem to have run into a road block in that apparently I cannot create a non-cloud layer of routes and tracks from which to operate on a daily basis. Am I missing some method to create non-cloud layers/.nob files on my PC from which to operate? Thank you.
