Designed Nav system aboard Secret; running CE 4.0 on a 12v intel NUC (Win10) with 12v LED Flat Screen, currently using ActiSense USB NGT1 Gateway to bring NEMA 2000 traffic to CE (including AIS objects). Have Wirie Pro aboard for internet via 802.11, using Mobile Chip for backup internet (when outside carrier service footprint) - with HF Extender. Installed (2) 100W solar panels on Bimini, using Morningside Duo PPT Controller (which charges both house bank & starter). Recently upgraded to Balmar MC-614 Regulator on 124 Amp alternator, installing Balmar Batter Monitoring System (SG200) w/ Battery Sensors & Shunt, with Bluetooth Module to bring data to app.

Currently installing (4) 12v Firefly 31D Microcell Carbon Foam Batteries for extended run time and better system performance. Recently replaced Inverter/Charger with Magnum Dimension 2000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter w/ 100 Amp Charger,ME-ARC50 Advance Remote Control (will support Generator set with automatic control).

Use Garmin 942xs GPS w/ NMEA0183 cable to upload GPX routes from CE to GPS (ActiSense USB NGT1 acts as firewall to NMEA 2000 bus, so no one can hack GPS from Ship Computer). Integrated Garmin AIS-600 w/ VHF-300 for automatic fix position to GPS, automatic MOB DHC Calling to USCG, Use CE.GPX to steer vessel via Jeffa Linear Ram to Edson Tiller Arm, so I can single-hand my 35’ sloop up to Maine.
