Does anyone have experience using an ACR AISLink CB2 Class B+ AIS Transceiver with the Nemo Gateway? I am thinking of buying the Nemo and this AIS for my 50’ Ocean Alexander. Any input would be useful. Thanks!
Steven with Rose Point here. Although we haven’t tried this unit out ourselves, I took a look at its specs and it appears that it should work. It says it supports NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000, and perhaps even a USB NMEA 0183 port. USB wouldn’t involve the Nemo, though. In any case, it should work fine with the Nemo unless it doesn’t conform to the NMEA standards correctly, which seems unlikely if it’s a popular AIS.
