My laptop had a catastrophic failure. I was able to back up all files on the hard drive but had to reinstall the OS from scratch. I have already downloaded the latest charts from NOAA so easy solution there.
I am attempting to restore my settings and data (locations, waypoints, tracks, routes, etc) from Coastal Explorer and need assistance. Where would the user data be located?

Your .NOB files (routes, marks, tracks, etc.) will be where you chose to save them. When you first save an .NOB file, the default location will be your Documents folder, so they would all be there unless you directed Coastal Explorer to save them someplace else.
You could also search your entire hard-drive for all instances of .NOB files if you aren’t sure where you saved them. Just ignore the vessels.nob file.
