Running CE on a Win10 computer. Occasionally (once or twice a day) CE will temporarily freeze and become unresponsive for 10 to 30 seconds - long enough for my Simrad AP to post the NAV DATA LOST message. Eventually CE will wake back up and system is back to normal behavior. Any suggestions?
This could happen if you have an extremely large Voyage Plan Document, but it would have to be very large to cause that much of a delay. You can test that by pressing Ctrl+S to perform a file save and see if that locks things up. If it does, then it might be time to archive any large/old tracks by copying them to a different document.
If that’s not it, you can contact Rose Point Support some time when your computer is connected to the internet and they can probably determine the cause and fix it for you.
