Would be nice for testing purposes, to be able to use Northern British Columbia charts of some kind, as well have not been able to find Navigation Instruments, speed, coarse etc.

Yes, we’d love BC charts too… We are working on getting an agreement with CHS.
On the iPhone, you need to rotate into a landscape orientation to get instrument panels. If you have a notched phone (X or 11), I recommend rotating the notch to your left for the best experience.
We still have a lot to do for the iPhone version, and one of those things will be to add some basic instrumentation to the top of the screen when in portrait orientation.
On the iPhone, I haven’t been able to download charts for offline use. The process seems to start but then stalls out.
