ChartWorld S-63 Chart Update Period

I just installed an S-63 chart from ChartWorld - a bit of a learning process but once done it’s pretty easily repeated.

When I purchased the chart I could select a 3, 6, 9, or 12 month update period. I’m assuming that’s how long ChartWorld will allow me to update the chart via Coastal Explorer, correct? After the update period expires, I won’t completely lose access to the chart, will I?

Hi Tim,

No, the charts that are on a specific system will not dissapear.

I’ve received an update to my Chartworld chart and successfully installed that. Now when I have the area onscreen in CE and click “Charts here” it shows both the base chart and the update. Will CE automatically show the latest updates, or should I only select the updated chart?
