I’m now on the south coast of the UK, using C-Map charts. Tomorrow I’ll be sailing up the Solent and it’s important to plan for the tidal current. The currents are not calculating or displaying correctly for tomorrow, October 29th. They are displaying correctly for today and other days. Here’s a screen shot of one of the stations. The vertical lines show where the calculation goes wrong, the current reverses suddenly and what is shown is not correct. The currents are wrong between 07:15 and 13:30. I’ve been able to plan using today’s currents and adding about 1 hour to the times.
