I have the analog clock on my instrument panel (12hr format). When I pull up the tide chart and click on it the displayed time is set to the time I clicked on the tide chart. Perhaps this behavior is intended. Perhaps not. I would prefer the clock not be affected by the tide chart.
This is very much intentional and is our “Virtual Time” feature. Since selecting a time, either by clicking on a tide/current graph or by using the Virtual Time controls, will affect all time related features on the chart (such as other tide and current station symbols), we feel it is important to show that time in the clock instruments.
However, the analog clock does have a problem in virtual time mode in that it should be indicating that it is not the real time (like the digital clock does), and it should not keep running! We’ll try to get those things fixed soon.
