Dual gps xgps150a

I am trying to use a Dual XGPS150A with Coastal Explorer running on Windows 11. Coastal Explorer sees the XGPS150A on Com3 but cycles through a number of messages - “checking for data at 19200 baud…” etc but will not connect.

Any suggestions?

GPS data should be 4800 baud, not sure what a dual XPGS150A is. Make sure it is serial data not NMEA2000. Try using the troubleshooter in the data ports menu. Select the port you are using, then raw data. The data should be readable i.e. real letters and numbers not gobbledygook. if present but not readable, reverse the polarity (switch the wires). If it continues to search past 4800 baud your data is not right.
