Feature request: set default track color

I would like to set my track colors by season/year. I have a few years of tracks already; the red everywhere is overwhelming and not informational. An easy way to do this would be to allow users to set the default track color rather than having to change trip manually. Even cooler would be a way to automatically fade older tracks or set them to different colors. (I also have a new boat, so it would be useful to be able to see which routes were on the new boat vs. old boat.)

Using Build 49: There is one feature on CE Windows that is little mentioned but very helpful and that is the “Range and Bearing Tool” located in the lower left corner. This is the quarter round circle that you can drag to measure from boat to an object. This is something I use all the time. Any chance this feature can be added to CE iPad?
