There has been ten years since I paied for an update. I’d rather pay more than this deep freeze in updates. How about those Lay-lines for us sailors. Anything on Signal k?
Looking at your account it appears you are running the latest version of Coastal Explorer for PC that we offer at this time. There have been several free program updates released over the past 10 years as well as the $99 upgrade from Coastal Explorer version 3.1 to version 4.0.
We have considered additional sailing features but are not in a good position to implement them at this time.
I have added the inquiry into Signal K support to our developers’ feature request list for consideration. If you have an iKommunicate, the device is capable of outputting NMEA0183 data via UDP which Coastal Explorer does support.
