So was testing XYZ files and found them user friendly to use but after populating in the conditions open survey file I closed the conditions window and closed R/P. Then I opened R/P and they are gone, ideally after populating the window a user would not lose this information IMO.
That’s how these worked in v4 as well and for a number of reasons, but mostly because they use up a LOT of memory and are very easy to forget about.
The survey feature is one that we’d like to improve, but XYZ files are terrible in so many ways (beyond having to figure out what coordinate systems they use). I’m hoping that we can use data on the eHydro to provide a much better experience that would be more like flipping a switch rather than what you need to do with an XYZ file and that system should be able to reload the data automatically.
