Name a New Route

I created a new route with CE on my iPad but do not know how to give it a name. The route list displays the “New Route” in black letters but it is not editable.
In addition, I would like to rename an existing route.
Please advise.

Hello,

You change the name in the “Properties” of a route, which is accessible from the route’s “Details” panel, and from the tip that appears when you click (tap) on any leg of a route.

Or also, right click and properties and enter
Route Name.
