In the future it would be nice to have a New Mark tool like we have in C.E. And ECS. Where we can build and add routes, annotations , marks. This would allow the shore side management to update route and berth information via the Portal, Without having to use boat software and streamlining the process.

You can do that today! But the +Add button only appears when a layer has been selected. In Coastal Explorer and Rose Point ECS, there is always a layer selected since having one is necessary for so many things. However, having a current layer is not usually necessary in the Rose Point ECS Portal, so there isn’t always one selected. Once you select the layer in which to create items, the +Add button will appear. (We are considering showing the button at all times but displaying a message when it’s clicked without a current layer…I guess that would have helped here!)
