Own-ship icon stops responding to HDG

At anchor, set boundary circle as anchor watch. Ship dances as normal around the anchor, within the circle.
Icon of ship is properly oriented to match Heading. Wake up and recheck. Ship icon is now stuck at wrong orientation.
HDG is from AP25 and is correctly displayed on instrument panel (and is live - moves around a little at anchor) but
ship icon is pointing the wrong way. Restart CE, problem clears. This seem to happen every day, but I might not have
noticed each day. I also suspect, but can’t assert, the problem clears after awhile getting underway. (As I’ve never
noticed it underway. Either that, or maybe overnighting at a dock with fixed HDG, the problem is not triggered.)

Extra details:
Setup at helm is 2 PC’s: helm-pc and SP7.
AP25 is on com port on helm-pc. HDG display is always working.
helm-pc is a NMEA server. SP7 connects for HDG, STW, etc.
I didn’t check every time, but when ship icon is found stuck on helm-pc,
HDG instrument on both machines is live and correct, but ship icon on SP7 is also stuck.
Restart CE only on helm-pc. Problem clears on both machines!

I did recently rebuild helm-pc with Win11 clean install and clean install of CE. So everything
had to be configured from scratch, so this may be a side effect of an unintentional configuration change.
(Maybe someday we’ll have a tool to backup and restore CE config (at least for the same machine - understand
it’s harder to move a config to a different machine/display.)
