My predictor is showing about 10 degrees off to port no matter which compass I choose to use. When I choose navigation for Coastal Explorer to take control of the autopilot it first turns to port a bit before it settles on the correct course. Hmmmmmmm. Haven’t been able to find an adjustment for this in CE or Autopilot adjustments.
This problem is caused by the differential between the course CE is calculating from GPS position’s and the Magnetic Compass reading from your Auto Pilot.
The only way I corrected this was to enter a deviation in the Auto Pilot to correct for the 10 degree offset. Most autopilots have the ability to correct the magnetic compass reading. If you can’t find it I recommend contacting your Auto Pilot manufacturer.
