My BC charts expired so I renewed them and they seemed to download fine. But when I turned on Coastal Explorer on the boat, it appears to be using US1WC01M as a chart which has no detailed resolution. How do I get the proper charts to display??
As mentioned in my reply to your email, US1WC01M is a US chart, not a BC chart. I’ve also given you a couple of things to try between now and Monday. If you continue to have problems, call us then.
The problem was that the charts were only partially updating. I updated manually several times and I finally ended up with all of the Canadian charts. I’m not sure why the full set up charts weren’t updating but it was a real pain which finally resolved itself.
