Questions about CMAP charts

I have recently purchased CMAAP charts and have a couple of questions:

How can I get rid of the small boxes (lines) on the chart?

Different sections of the chart seem to be shaded or clear. What does this mean and how can I clear it?

When I am traveling down the inter coastal waterway Coastal Explorer will state that charts are not available for this area or zoom level. Is there any way to default CE so it does not give this message or CE shows the most zoomed in view. It is rather annoying since some areas have a greater zoom than others.

I’m not sure what you mean by “small boxes (lines)” on the chart. Shaded areas in C-MAP charts tend to mean the source data is not of an appropriate scale for how you are viewing it, and that can also cause the message you’re seeing. It might be best to contact Rose Point Support directly to get better answers, but they will probably need to see some screen shots or get remote access to your PC.
