Safety, Shallow and Deep Contour

After years of working on the Columbia and Snake River I’ve noticed sections on vector charts that will not adjust to the desired safety contour shade. I’ve made boundary areas to highlight those areas but think it would be better to have those issues cleaned up when possible. The biggest one is the Snake River Cut starting just before mile 3 to Ice Harbor Dam. the other ones are hit and miss between KBM Interstate to the bridge of the gods. Using 14 feet as my safety contour.

I noticed recently that the Information icon in the browser is highlighted and that there are informational circles in the channel areas that was discuss in the original post. after clicking on the circle I see the (SLA) and going to the next page see depth area 15 ft. at between river mile 109-110. at river mile 113-114 depth area of 13 ft. After setting my safety contour to 13 feet it cleaned up the channel area 109-110 but not the 113-114 R.M. area. The National Channel Framework data shows that the channel depth to be maintained to 17ft to The Dalles Dam and 14 feet to McNary Dam. The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers-Walla Walla District Lower Snake River Dam and Reservoir Project has established the navigational channel to be 14 feet depth by 250 feet wide at the lowest operational water elevation & that the Corp to maintain wider areas for bends, sidings and turning basins. It would be nice to get a cleared channel that is not depended on contour shades if possible, to fix conflicting information. P.S. like the Information button and the ability to get more info with pop ups at areas on the chart.
