Prior to the latest version of ECS when I clicked on a spot on the track the position and time of the pointer location were displayed in a window as well as the start date/time of the track, Now only the date and time the track started, This is a downgrade of that feature.
Disabling that was an accident and we will be releasing another update to fix it ASAP.
Kool Thanks.
Was taking away ctrl-z (undo) a mistake as well? That feature came in handy if we accidently deleted an object.
Undo still works for changes, but deleted items now show up in “Layers > Deleted” where they can be “restored” for up to a week after they were deleted. (But now that you mention it, there isn’t a good reason why undo can’t still work for deletes too, so we’ll look into making that work again.)
Interesting. I didn’t know that existed. I’m looking in layers, but don’t see ‘deleted’. Does that have to be turned on somewhere?
Sorry, I missed that you were using Rose Point ECS… The Deleted items feature only works for cloud-synchronized layers in Coastal Explorer at the moment. Undo should still be working for deleted items in Rose Point ECS and it seems to be for me. Did you maybe have a browser panel open when you tried it? Those can intercept the Ctrl+Z key…
It does work for me as well. It has been a while since I tried it, so I can’t be sure what was going on at the time. But I know it works now, so If I run into it again, I’ll keep track of what I was doing.
Thanks for the quick responses on my questions.
