Not sure what is happening here. Installed the software today, setup and has been working as we set things up. Once I added the NEMA connection to the boat I instantly got a trial expired message. Two screenshots attached.
Update, using TCP there is no issue. Using UDP the issue occurs. Anybody using UDP in a registered version with no issues?
Do you have an old GPS sending information on that UDP port? Some old GPS receivers have a problem reporting the correct date. If Coastal Explorer receives a date from a GPS that is outside of your trial window, it will think the trial is over.
I only have one GPS sending data over the NEMA network. UDP and TCP. Weird it has an issue on UDP but not TCP.
