Original Rosepoint NMEA2000 Gateway & ARM64 Windows

I am a longtime CE user and am now in the process of migrating to a Nav computer with an ARM64 processor running Windows 11. Everything has been fine so far but I have not had a chance to test it on the boat. I’ve been using an original Rosepoint NMEA2000 Gateway device (pre-NEMO) to provide the PC with the N2K data stream. Are there any driver issues I should be aware of?

I’m afraid there are no drivers for that that will work on an ARM-based PC.

Thanks for responding. It looks like the Actisense NGX-1-USB, which has ARM64 drivers, provides similar functionality as the Rosepoint Gateway. Am I interpreting its spec’s correctly?

I have been running the Actisense NGX-1-USB in a Windows 10 environment since I started with CE4 (long before the NUC was released).

Been a really long time since I hit their website looking for drivers, and am amazed by the product line of this family business…

Searching for USB drivers found they indeed support ARM64 based systems… and yes I do believe it will communicate data from your NMEA network to your new NAV computer,

I’ll second the use of an Actisense NGX gateway. It’s a high-quality device and allows the use of Actisense’s free NMEA2000 software to analyze and tweak your network devices. I’m using CE with an Intel NUC and the NGX and it works great.
