I have Windows 10 on my NUC. I see I installed it in 2018 and it continues to work well. Aside from a few PDFs and a few photos, it’s used exclusively for Coastal Explorer and associated navigation systems through the NEMO gateway.
Microsoft is now telling me support will end soon. How is Rosepoint moving forward with supporting Windows 10 based systems. Windows 11 will not run on my NUC. Will there come a point when some future upgrade for Coastal Explorer fail to operate on My NUC?

Just because Microsoft revs their O/S to generate software revenue and push new hardware sales…
it doesn’t mean that CE4 will stop working on your NUC. Truth is your hardware and software will continue to work until your NUC blows a head gasket.
if your platform is doing what you need, don’t fall for the mandatory o/s rev pitch. Once in a while I boot up a virtual image of XP Pro to remind myself how much I miss running Amipro (instead of MS Word).
Just continue running your NUC, and hold the course running CE4.

Just an FYI: If you have the latest windows update installed, it will give you a free extra year of updates if you sign into your microsoft account on the device. Details here, I’ve got 5 systems that I’ve applied this to so I’ve got a little more time to migrate to something else…
